‘4days4Transition’ Seminar Series, promoted by Prof. Daniela De Leo thanks to funding from the University.
The common theme of the four meetings is Transition, also in relation to the simultaneous implementation of the DiArc-Department of Excellence 2023-27 project ‘Living the Transition’. In particular, each of the four seminars in the cycle is designed as an opportunity to discuss and explore ‘Transition’ in relation to the results of recent research conducted at national and international level on INEQUALITIES, CIRCULARITY and INFORMALITY, concluding with a moment of reflection more internal to the THEORIES AND PRACTICES of Urban and Regional Planning, as well as URBAN POLICIES.
December 2nd 2025 | 15:30-18:00 @Andriello Room
CIRCULARITY
The second seminar examines transition through urban metabolism frameworks for designing regenerative territories. It focuses on the circulation of resources, landscapes, and materials in post-industrial and peri-urban contexts, drawing from European research and practice in architecture, design, and urban planning.
